Festival of Innovation Projects SIKORSKY CHALLENGE

From October 24 to 27, 2023 in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the ХІI Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2023" will be held.

The war put us in front of incredible challenges, forced us to realize new realities and develop new strategic tasks for the post-war period of recovery and development of Ukraine.

The paradigm of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine should be based on the rapid and effective implementation of innovative technologies and developments in all areas of the country's security, defense and economy.

This year's 12th International Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2023" will be held in these very important areas of the rebuilding and recovery of Ukraine.

The Festival will take place in October 2023 at Igor Sikorsky KPI (Kyiv). Form of the event: mainly synchronous online mode.

As usually, the main events of the Festival will include:

International Forum “International Support for Innovative Transformation of Ukraine”
Presentation of the virtual exhibition “Sikorsky Challenge Immersive”
Thematic panel discussions
Exhibition (virtual) of startup projects, breakthrough scientific and technical developments
Final of the Competition of Innovative Startup Projects, which will be held in 6 sections:

Section 1: Aviation and space
Section 2: International grant projects and start-ups of foreign universities/organizations - SCU partners (USA, Israel, UK, Japan, Germany, Spain, Portugal)
Section 3: Infrastructure and industrial high-tech
Section 4: Information technologies, digital country, cyber security
Section 5: Biomedical engineering and human health
Section 6: Energy and environmental security, green energy

PROGRAM OF FESTIVAL

From October 24 to 27, members of the International Jury will have the possibility to ask questions, evaluate projects and select winners in the nominations:

The best project idea
The best technological solution
The best solving problems of potential customers
The best business model

Representatives of the investor companies will choose the projects of their interest; they will sign Protocols of Intent with the project teams to invest in the projects.
